The Best Way to Predict the Future is to Create It.
I can't believe how long it has been since I posted on my blog. It was not my intention to be gone so long. I have really missed all of you. This week several stampers left me a little message here giving so I felt that was my sign to get back at it. I just have not had the mojo to stamp for some reason. I have been very crafty though. I also love to sew and have done a lot of that. My New Year's resolution this year is to make all my presents. I have already started on Christmas.
This adorable little image is from Saturated Canary. She is called Traveling Colors. I just love her images. Then I did a google search on Doodles and came up with the sentiment. This is for my youngest daughter that is getting ready to graduate from college and is on the hunt for a job. Not an easy task in this market. I have had issues with Flickr and didn't realize you only get 200 uploads and then you don't get to see your other photos so I need to do some research on photo editing. I always like the way Flickr and Blogger work together but it may be time for a change.
I am offering up an $8 gift certificate to Saturated Canary this week. Just leave me a comment in the section below. I will pick a winner this Saturday.
It's always good to see your work and hear how things are going for you, Dawn. I'm glad that you are enjoying some other creative outlets :) I just recently discovered Saturated Canary as well and have the image you used, but I just haven't colored her yet. For not having had mojo, your card is stunning. What a perfect sentiment for a young lady venturing out into the world of career :D
ReplyDeleteAdorable!! Love the black & red combo with this cutie!! Thanks for a chance to win.

How sweet ! I love her bag and stash ! Nice to see you back , Dawn !
ReplyDeleteI think that is a great gift idea for this year and whohoo for you! Beautiful coloring girlie.
ReplyDeleteFirst off...I've missed you! But, your come back is so cute! Your daughter will love it, I'm sure. You'll have to post a few of your 'other' craft items. I haven't sewn much in years....used to all the time but life and work pushed it to the back burner and then computer crafting and card making pushed it further back. Since I've retired, maybe I need to move it back to the front...my clan could stand some homemade goodies and my bank account could really stand it...
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you back, Dawn...
Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute! Love that image. Oh Dawn............I love your blog header. What a great idea!
