Midnight Madness Challenge #22

I created this card for several different challenges.. The first being a tea party challenge on SCS with a great group of stampers.. I chose the colors of a tea pot for my card.  This month is Cindy Motherway's birthday and this week we are honoring her.

The second challenge is for the Midnight Madness Challenge #22.  This sketch is so awesome.  I even added the stitches.  This is the first time I have done this challenge and it won't be the last..

Lastly this is also a RAK stamp from a super special person and it means so much to me.  We share the love of Magnolias.  The second RAK on this card is the decorative scissors given to me by another very sweet friend.  What would we do without friends..

Happy Birthday Michelle

Today is my sweet friend Michelle's birthday.  She creates cards for chemo kids and families.  I just wanted to send her out a huge birthday wish.  She is a Magnolia lover. Many of the cards that I make I send to her to give to her kids and their families.   I colored this with Primsa Pencils and Copics.  I created my own background by using a strawberry stamp from FireCracker Designs.  I got this set when I was a guest designer and I LOVE it.  I use it all the time.

Have a great day Michelle...LYMI..

BEE - U- tiful

I created this card for 2 different challenges. The first challenge was for Roses On Paper Challenge Blog. We were to create with combined challenges and flowers. Check it out. Fun..fun...fun. There is exciting news about the new Belles 'n Whistles site. Check it out too. They are looking for 3 DT members to join their team. New stamps will be designed by Elisabeth Bell. The details are on the Roses on Paper DT call post...

Second challenge is for the Just Magnolia challenge which was to paper piece. I pieced Tilda's pants.

I also created this card for a little group challenge on SCS. We were to use yellow, black and gray.

The paper I used was from Mel Stampz. She has an amazing blog. I visit every day. This is a free download she has. Thanks Mel.

I really love this image. She is so adorable. I added a bee to Mel's paper from SU Bloomin Beautiful.

Hope you have a super day...

Thank You Lisa

I created this card for the challenge over on Just Magnolia. We were to use Animals or Insects. I thought a bird may qualify for an animal. I got this wonderful bird brad from my friend Lisa. She won a gift certificate to her local craft store and she made me a care package from all her goodies. She sent the brad, the button, the stickles on her heart basket, and this awesome ribbon. I masked this image and added the bird to her hand. Thanks Lisa. Your friendship warms my heart...Hugs.

Check out the challenge HERE.

Have a great day,

I love this paper. It is so pretty. I rarely use yellows. It is urban prairie from Basic Grey. I coordinated it with Bo-Bunny's Back to Backs. Stitched around the edges and added a punched flower and button. This one is in the mail....

Have a great day,

Apple Pie Me Oh My

Created this card for a card kit swap that I joined. It is my first time using copics. They are not as easy as they look. Let's just say Tilda got dressed three times today. LOL. I love this apple paper. It is by Creative Imaginations. I also used my Great Impressions dessert stamp. What do you think? Is it swap worthy..

Have a great day,

Foiled Birthday Girl

I love the SCS challenges. They get me to do things I would not normally think of. Today's challenge was to use foil. I just glued a piece of foil to a piece of cardstock. Ran it through my birthday cb folder and added this image. Hard to photograph but fun look. Hope your day has some sun.. Raining here like crazy..

Patriotic Tilda

I have been busy entertaining 9 spring breakers this week. I am exhausted already.. MAN can those college girls EAT. They are so excited about home cooked meals. It has been so fun.

I created this card for a friend of mine that sent me some images she had drawn. I will post the card that I made with one of those images tomorrow. Love this Magnolia. It is an RAK image. Colored with GooGone and prismapencils. The tiny flower is another RAK from a friend.

Have a great week.

Pretty In Purple

Quick card today. I made this for a little challenge we have on SCS. One layer, one ribbon, one punch. This image is an RAK from a friend. I think this is such a fabulous way to have a variety of images and not spend all that money. She is so sweet. Have a great weekend. It is 60 here already.

Magnolia Hearts

I created this card for IC168 on Splitcoast and Roses on Paper's blog challenge. Roses on Paper is offering a fabulous prize this week. Check it out here. I have ordered from Roses On Paper many times and I love this company. Her customer service is outstanding. This week's challenge was hosted by Lim. You were to create a "love" card. I paper pierced a heart behind her and then added the bench and Tilda. Colored with GooGone and Pencils. Thanks so much for stopping by....go check out this challenge blog.. Lots of great stuff.. The IC challenge was to create a card being inspired by this online sight Flutter.

Tilda's Quilt

I love these Tilda images. They are so fun to color and so cute. It reminds me of when my girls were little and they had little lives. Now they are big with bigger lives.
