The days of 2012 just seem to be flying by. I can't believe it is almost Thanksgiving and then Christmas. This week I chose this sweet little scarecrow stamp. I am not sure where I got this as it is unmounted. He is perfect for the fall weather we are having. I just finished up pulling up all my garden goodies and getting it ready for winter hibernation.
The winner of last week's blog candy is...#5
Gorgeous and adorable, Dawn! Love the sparkle, too. Sorry for your friend's misfortunes. I hope her fight from breast cancer is successful and they recover quickly from Sandy, also.

Enjoy your daughters! Family is the best gift of all & the one we have to thank God for above everything else!

ReplyDeleteThis is so very cute! Love the dp and the great card design you used with adorable image.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you will be having a wonderful visit. We won't do much for Thanksgiving, never do. It was always my four days to get ready for the Christmas holiday when I worked. We put up the tree, put up the outside lights and rested.....the next 4 weeks would be grueling and I never had much time to do anything but sleep and work. I'm looking forward to my first holiday without Big Brown.
ReplyDeleteI love your coloring of the scarecrow. I've still not got the coloring down yet. First, I need to get some better paper purchased. I wish I lived closer to the city and could take the images to a Kinko's or Staples or some such for laser printing but, alas, I'm a good 2 hours away from any place like that. Thank you for letting me know how you do your images. I'm going to give the embossing a try but my ink is really dry when it comes out of my printer so I doubt if it works for me either.
wauw dawn, what a beautiful card! love the stunning combination from the papers colours and image, and your colouring is perfect as always!!!
