Last
month, we let the cat out of the bag and told you that once in a while
we'd usher in what we called a Pinter-inspiration challenge. We're
getting on the Pinterest bandwagon and even have a Flourishes page HERE showing
not only all of our sets but cards and techniques that inspire us! So,
today's Pinter-inspiration is one inspired by the website Design Seeds. Here's a peek at what they do!!!
They take an image and then, produce a color palette taken from the gorgeous photo! You'll have to check out their website HERE for their literal daily inspiration! I could literally spend hours on their site!
For my inspiration I chose the Flourishes Sweet Violets set. I see now that I got my greens the wrong shade so please forgive that. I was going by memory and sometimes that isn't so good these days. LOL.
I used all kinds of Flourishes goodies on my card. I stamped my image out onto Flourishes Classic White Cardstock. Then I pulled out my Flourishes Copics Collections in the following colors:
Then I added some striped ribbon and a sentiment cut out with my Tailor Made Classic Tags Die set. I attached it with some Olive Plaid Ribbon.
HOW TO PLAY! So, do you want a chance to win Flourishes entire March Release? All you need to do is be inspired by the color palette above and use it in a creation! Once you are done, just link up here using the inlinkz widget and you will be in the running. You have until Friday, March 16th at 5PM EST to enter! Use Flourishes stamps if you have them, but if you don't -- play along anyway -- you would win some! The winner will receive all three sets and our new Tailor-made die that will be unveiled in our newest release starting NEXT WEDNESDAY! If you upload to Splitcoaststampers, don't forget to use the keyword MAR12PIN! Good Luck!
