It is time for another Flourishes Friday. This week we are wrapping up the New Release Bundle special so hurry over and get your February Release.
Today I have 2 cards to share. I had watercolored the He Has Risen set last week and just did not like it. I really wanted to use this scripture and wanted to come up with just the right layout. I also wanted to keep it really simple. I stamped my lilies several times on the cross and popped them up. I used Tim Holtz Distress ink and watercolored my entire card. I added a wash around the cross and sentiment. This is so much prettier IRL. Just a simple card with a big impact.
My second card uses the Calla Lilies Set. I love this set. It is so pretty. I created a sympathy card for my son's teacher. I used the Spellbinders Classic Circle Dies and Ribbon Tag set which I cut out with my Grand Calibur to cut them out. The designer paper is from My Minds Eye Blush. The buttons are from My Minds Eye and can be found in Flourishes store. The ribbon is the Pink Wrinkled Ribbon Flourishes carries. I colored with Flourishes Copics Collections:
