I am pretty sure you can all agree with me when I say that stampers are the kindest bunch. Every year my friend and fellow stamper sends out a pig of some sort on March 1st. Pigs have a special meaning to her. This year was no different. She always has a creative way to send it too. I opened my mailbox on March 1st and this is what I saw.
This year she sent her flying pigs in a little white mailbox. It was all taped up with flying piggy tape.
This little flying pig has been around the world many times. He is solar powered and is like the energizer bunny all day. He keeps flying and flying. I just love it.
I sent her this to thank her along with a little flying pig for her garden...
This was all created with my Silhouette Cameo. The Thank You tag was a freebie. I am sorry I don't remember which site was offering it. The pig is cut in white then in pink for the overlay.
Thank you Lorraine for always making me feel special.
This week the Teapot Tuesday over on Splitcoaststampers was for a friend of mine here in NC. She loves to garden and has a woodworking shop. I remember the first time we met and she told me all about the class she took for woodworking. She was the only female in the class. She has created toys for fundraising auctions with what she learned in the class. She is fighting the fight of cancer right now. Her faith will get her through this.
I thought this little sweetie from Mo's Digital Pencil called The Fixer was perfect. I cut the fence and sun out with my Silhouette Cameo. I hope she feels all the love the teapotters are sending her way this week.
Have a fabulous weekend my friends. 75 degrees here so I will be in my garden.
Fabulous pig creations! Both of you are so creative! Love your card for Linda, too! It's perfect! I popped mine in the mail to her on Wednesday. Enjoy the warm weather! It was 78 here yesterday and supposed to be the same over the weekend!
ReplyDeleteI just love your wonderful creations, Dawn! I'm so happy you are having time for spending in your craft room.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful creations.

That pig is too cute and that tag you made with the polka dotted pig with wings is wonderful. What a great friend :) Had to giggle because my boss once told me that I squealed like a pig sometimes but always got the work done LOL. Who when on vacation I found a battery operated pig that would oink and whose snout would move in and out and tail flip when you turned it on. Needless to say, he got it for his birthday LOL!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your friend. Glad she has you in her life to encourage her through this difficult time.
How fun with the pigs!! Love your card, so cute!
ReplyDeleteYour story is so sweet and I love both your adorable tag and card!
ReplyDeleteOh how sweet. What a kind and fun gesture. Love your cute tag and charming card Dawn. Just love your sun. Hi.
ReplyDeleteThe pigs are cute, but I LOVE the little fixer! Your coloring on this is just amazing. She looks real enough to step out of the card at any moment. I know this will mean the world to your friend. I'll add a prayer for her battle!
ReplyDeleteOH Dawn, both of these are fabulous! I love the pink flying pig, and that Mo Manning image is adorable. I love that fence, I do not own a cutting machine except the cuttle bug, but this looks easy to cut by hand :)
ReplyDeleteSuper cute pig card all in pink! Love seeing all your cameo creations! I am just getting started with my portrait and having fun!
ReplyDeleteYou and Lorraine make lovely friends. Her gift to you is just adorable and your thank you tag is perfect! I love your little Mo's fixer card too. So prettily coloured and prettily designed. Hugs, Lesley
ReplyDeleteYou do everything with such love and thoughtfulness. These will both be very special to the recipients. The little Fixer girl couldn't be more perfect. I love how you place the hearts on the fence.
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are wonderful, Dawn....I really like the fixer..she is adorable! Now, did you cut her out on the silhouette? You can, you know!
ReplyDeleteHi Dawn, I saw your card on Pinterest and had to jump to your blog and see your awesome creations.. Love your cards, they are so beautiful, and gorgeous coloring...
