A Mother's Love




It is time for Flourishes Release Week Challenge.  Siberian Iris MD

Our theme for this challenge is create a card for your mom or a mother that is special in your life.  
I chose one of my most beloved sets called Siberian Iris.  I stamped my iris flowers 4 times and colored.  I used Flourishes Classic White Cardstock and the following Flourishes Copic Collections:  



I added some pretty Parrot Green Crinkled ribbon cut in half and two little heart embellishments I had from a previous 123 Create Kit.   I colored the flowers hoping to get a watercolored look with my Copics.  I then cut out two of them and popped them up.

I always miss my mom on Mother's Day but I am sure I can find a Motherly woman to give this too. I have several in mind.  Now head on over to see what the rest of the girls have in store for you:

 HOW TO PLAY: Playing is simple - just create a card for a mom in  your life! It could be your own mom for Mother's Day. It could be for a new mom - welcoming in her brand new bundle of joy. Flourishes will be closed for customer service needs starting Friday through Sunday. Any orders or emails will be responded to first thing Monday morning so that our Flourishes family can enjoy the Easter holiday. Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

    I simply adore this card. Your coloring technique is superb. The way you put some orange in with the pink in the flowers is perfect. I always tell people that flowers and trees are never just one color. You added a depth and naturalness that is so wonderful!

    Dawn, this is such a splendid card, I know your receiver will cherish it :) You colored it in so beautifully and I love how it looks watercolored in and matches the background paper! I know how tough it is with out one of our parents. I'm sorry you can't spend Mother's Day with your mom. Hope your family blesses you with many hugs and much love to ease the ache.
