It's World Cardmaking Day today and Flourishes is helping Splitcoaststampers celebrate
with a fun challenge. I used Flourishe's Fight Like A Girl set to create a tag
for my card. I cut the tag out with the new Spellbinder's Beaded Circles. I added some Basic Grey rhinestones from Flourishes embellishment section.
On this World Cardmaking Day, We're joining Splitcoaststampers by giving folks
'Hope they can Cling to!' That is the inspiration for SCS's “Hope You Can
Cling To” stamping campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All this
month, SCS is partnering with the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center for a month long
card drive to benefit those affected by breast cancer. The campaign kicks off
TODAY! You can read up on the card drive HERE. To honor this heartfelt drive,
Flourishes decided to offer up one heck of a challenge!
Here's the Challenge: Since women come in all shapes and sizes -- let's honor that! There are tall and skinny, round and shapely, even a little boxy. So, let's ditch the A-2 sized cards (4-1/4" by 5-1/2")and get creative. Anything goes! If you do that AND use ribbon, you'll get two entries! If you use a non-standard shape card, use ribbon and use the color pink, you'll have three chances to win! Let's see what you can create! When uploading to SCS, please use the keyword: FLLCWCMD10. You have until October 31st to enter and will have a shot at winning a goody bag which includes our Fight Like a Girl set supporting breast cancer survivors!
