This week over at Flourishes we are focusing on Christmas.. Use one Christmas set in two
different ways.. I saw this amazing quilt that was the trigger for creativity over
at Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger this last week. Not Your Square Granny Square was my starting point for this card. This is my first time playing in this challenge.
I chose the colors from the quilt and chair.. I went with a shabby, dirty, distressed look to keep with the quilted look. I also added stitching for a sewing look.. This card uses Flourishes All That Glitters set. The sentiment is from the set Christmas Music.
This fabulous paper is Jovial from Basic Grey. I used the layout that Roxie has over at
Splitcoaststampers for the 300th sketch challenge.
Here is my second card for this challenge. I used the same All That Glitters stamp
set from Flourishes but this time I kept it clean.. Just sponged and used white and black as my card colors. I wanted it to look like looking out your window on a winter day. I used Flourishes
Classic White Cardstock. I also chose the black braided trim that is available in the store. The sentiment is from Christmas Wreath.
Want to play along.. take a Flourishes Christmas set.. Created 2 cards with the same set. Then
upload to SCS with the keywords FLLCNOEL6 for a chance to win a free set...AND
