This week at Flourishes we are focusing on the newly released sets.
I love them all. Each month's releases get better and better. For my first
card I used the new set called Ferns and Fiddles.. I used white embossing
powder and Versamark ink to emboss the ferns on glossy cardstock.
I then sponged some ink over the
For the second card I used the new set called Humming Along.
I have some really pretty hummingbirds that visit my deck each
day during my morning coffee. They are so fast.
I colored the florals with the Copics Collections available at
Flourishes. I added some highlights with Prisma Pencils. This
wonderful cotton linen ribbon is also available at Flourishes. This
ribbon is so nice when making bows.

ReplyDeleteThey are both gorgeous!! I love the spa colors with lace trim in the first....but the flowers and hummingbird are so beautifully colored in the second. Great way to sell their products with such fabulous examples!
ReplyDeleteWasn't sure I was on the right blog at first because there wasn't a coloured image. Love how you embossed the ferns on the card and added the lace. Love how the hummer is outside the main image box on the second card. Lovely piercing and fabulous colouring as always :D

The second card is wonderful, also. I love the colors and the coloring of the hummingbird and the plant. Your paper piercing adds a lot to the card, and I love how this particular ribbon holds the bow. Thank you for sharing two incredible cards!

Wow Dawn! These are gorgeous!!! LOVE the hummingbird and how you colored it!!! You did some fancy layering on the ferns! It's so pretty! I'm finally back on line with a new computer. What a weekend... trying to copy files and upload programs! Hope yours is better!!! I posted my first try at the hummers too... not as good as yours though!

How soft and pretty the blues and greens are together in the first card. I really like the pretty lace.
