I have been back home with a sick family member this week..
It seems like when you are faced with life's situations you start to
reflect on simplifying. I love this set from Flourishes. The ocean
gives me so much peace. This week we had an "anything goes"
theme.
I pray to be like the ocean, with soft currents, maybe waves
at times. More and more, I want the consistency rather than
the highs and the lows. Drew Barrymore
This set is called Beach Life and is available over at Flourishes.
I stamped and sponged the scene. My sponging isn't the best as
I used my MIL's kitchen sponges with my ink. I forgot my daubers.
She was pretty impressed. I wanted it to look like a post card.
This week we didn't have a theme but just had fun...
Check out what the rest of the team did:
Christine Okken
Cindy Lawrence
Julie Koerber
Laura Fredrickson
Leslie Miller
Stacy Morgan
Danielle Kennedy
I also made this for the Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge #31
Clean and Simple was their challenge for this week.
Ceal picked this scripture:
Psalm 51:7-10 "Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash
me, and I will be whiter than snow. Let me hear joy and gladness,
let the bones you have crushed rejoice. Hide your face from my sins
and blot out all my iniquity. Create in me a pure heart, O God, and
renew a steadfast spirit within me."
