Mother Nature....

We are in the middle of a another big ice storm here in NC.  Our power has been off and
on all week.  Today we have no heat so we are headed over to some friends..I am sorry
I have not been out visiting all my blog land friends.  Even the birdies are cold...brrrr.

Hugs and I will be back soon.

  1. Those poor little birdies!! So glad you have a feeder up for them! Hope the weather warms up so you can wave goodbye to the snow and get your power back consistently.

Science Fair experiments are done (yeah) and all that's left is setting up the display boards and practicing the presentation speeches :D So sorry to hear your event got canceled after all your hard work prepping for it!!

  3. What a pretty little picture :) It's snowing at our house....again. And they are calling for even more this weekend. I remember a couple of months ago when I was ready for snow. I'm definitely over that notion! Gald you are keeping warm at a friend's house. Talk to you soon!

  4. OMG, Dawn...no power?! We had that happen in Feb. 2 yrs. ago and I was never so cold in all my life. No back up heat such as fireplace, etc...just a little kerosene heater. I slept with so many clothes on...and do you know how cold a toilet seat can get without heat? LOL! I can tell you! Hope and pray you get your power back soon.

  13. What a terrific photo of the bird feeder and birds huddled together to stay warm. I hope your power is back on full soon so you can be warm. We didn't have ice here in MD but we got 29" of snow.
