WHIMSIE DOODLES STORE
I had a few more cards to create for Whimsie Doodle this month so
I got busy yesterday and created some valentine cards and gifts.
This first card is a card that is going to my MIL. The last time we
were home she cleaned out all her crafting stuff. She gave almost
all of it to me. It really touched my heart. The lace and the wooden
hearts were in the bundle of goodies. I used the newly released set
called Lil Cupid. This is one of the new rubber stamps that Melyssa
now has in the store. I colored with my Prismas on Dessert Sand
paper from Mark's Finest Papers. I LOVE this stuff. It has a great
texture and it has a earthier color than SU's Kraft.
I am entering this into several challenges for the week:
Raise The Bar: Use something old (lace and hearts from MIL)
Dare U2Digi: Hearts.. I think there are plenty here..:)
This second card was created for the Whimsie Wednesday challenge on PCP
where I am the host this week. My challenge is "Go Figure". Make a card
with a shape. This is Cloud 9 Cupid and Cupid 9 Leah merged together.
I also added the flannel heart to go along with the Ways To Use it Challenge
on SCS. Julia's challenge was to add textiles to your creation.
This towel creation is for my Whimsie DT Valentine. I made it using a
towel from the dollar store then I added a fabric strip to it and a
yoyo flower and heart button.
This last cutie creation is for my niece.. I am sending her a little
package full of stuff for Valentines.. This monkey image is perfect
for Valentine socks.. I colored with copics and highlighted with
my Prismas..
These stamps or digi images are all available at 20% off. Hurry over
and use the code Dawn20 to save 20% on your order...

Dawn, I don't know how you come up with the time, let alone the creativity to do all you do...these are all sweet and adorable and the sock monky just gives me a huge giggle. Lucky niece...and how nice to have a MIL that is so generous. Love the first card with the brown gingham and red hearts, a wonderful color combination!
ReplyDeleteEverything is fabulous. Gorgeouos coloring and what a cretive way to package socks. Love it.
ReplyDeleteFabulous creations, Dawn!! Love them all!!
ReplyDeleteHi Dawn! I just love your style and wanted to let you know that! Great, great job!
ReplyDeleteDenise
I really like that kraft-like color on the first card. It is yellower and warmer than SU kraft. Feels so cozy with the red and brown.
ReplyDeleteThe images on the second card work so well with the stair step style card.
How creative of you to make a special Vday towel.
And the presentation of the socks is too cute.
What awesome projects! I LOVE them all. I wish that Valentine's day was every day of the year. NOthing but love and chocolate!! WootyHoot!
