Let Freedom Ring

We are having a fun little challenge over on the Power Poppy Blog...

Today the design team is creating a card based on the colors of their country.  Of course mine is Red, White and Blue as you can see.  I chose the Power Poppy set called Countryside Bouquet.  It is a newly released set that is digital.  I used Julie's tutorial to change to colors on my flowers and the sentiment.  The tutorial is fabulous and easy and can be found HERE...what a bummer that I was out of ink on my printer so the red is not the color I wanted but the possibilities are endless.

For all the info about the Patriotic challenge check out the Power Poppy Blog today.  Marcy is offering up some free digital sentiments and here are a sneak at the rules:

No matter where you live, use your country's colors as your theme! Marcy is going to offer up a free digi sentiment for those that want to use it. And here's how the challenge will work:

1 point for all Power Poppy entries
2 points if you use patriotic colors and a power poppy stamp
3 points if you use patriotic colors, a power poppy stamp and the freebie digi sentiment

  7. BOOM! This is simple, powerful, and American all the way! Love it, Dawn! Cropping in tight from the side and showcasing part of the bouquet is really a neat way to approach this image, especially since there's so much detail to it. Thank you for sharing your bow-bedecked beauty! Happy 4th!
