Power Poppy New Release Day 2

Welcome to day 2 of Power Poppies new release.  This set is my favorite for so many reasons.

We are a baseball family and I love every minute of it.  When I am not stamping I am watching my son play ball.

My son has been playing since he was 3.  I grew up listening ( before we had a TV) to the Chicago Cubs on the radio as my dad worked outside on hot summer days.  Harry Carry would be blasting the play by play.

I stamped my image onto X-Press It paper and colored with Copics.  I cut out a circle with Spellbinders and added a baseball seam which is one of the stamps in this set.  It is stocked full of awesome stamps.  So many possibilities.  I then added an array of circles (which is not the norm for me) and left a little spot uncut on the top for a shaped card.  This set will be available over at Power Poppy  Play Ball  on June 1st.

Here is my sweet baseball player..almost taller than I am these days:

  10. Love your memory of listening to the games Dawn. I remember going to my grandparent's home and my grandpa would have the earphones to his radio in one ear and listening to another game on the tv! Love your shapes card - super cute use of the stitching! Fabulous masculine card creation!
