Teapot Love

I am having so much fun with my new Silhouette Cameo.  This past week I created two cards with this adorable little teapot.  It is available in the Silhouette store.  This image is Wryn Grow a Little Love from Tiddly Inks. I colored her with Copics.  Her dress is covered in glitter to hide an oops.  It takes a lot of practice to get back into the Copics rhythm.

The card inserts down into the teapot.  I added a button to the top so it was easier to pull out.

I created two cards with this Silhouette cut file.  One was pink and one was red.  I just love this teapot and I know I will use it over and over again.

I am really disliking the way that Blogger makes my pictures so blurry.  I used to upload to Flickr but have exceeded my limit there and refuse to pay the money to upgrade.  Any suggestions what is compatible with Blogger?  I need to do some research.  Plus set up a better system for taking pictures.  Have a great weekend everyone.

  1. This is so sweet! The teapot is darling, and your little image is just Tea-rific, and colored so beautifully! Thanks for sharing....I have no photo advice, and have the same issues. I feel that the photos look good in my camera, on the screen, and in my files, but once I post? Not so good. Hugs...

  4. Hi Dawn...I see you are getting used to the Cameo....its fun, isn't it! I can remember the days of fussy cutting everything...my hands hurt after my daughters wedding. I cut out 150 favor boxes with a craft knife and cutting mat and then had to finish the curves with my scissors. It would take me almost as long with the Cameo, but at least my hands wouldn't hurt. LOL

This is two very cute cards! And I think your coloring is excellent!

I noticed that on the blog, the images don't look that good but if you click on them and view larger, they are much, much better!

  6. This is such an adorable card and you've inspired me to dust off my Cameo and use it. Sadly, it's not in a location where it's easily accessible...need to brainstorm and figure out where in my tiny stamp room I can keep it out and hooked up all the time.
