Flourishes May New Release Day 2

It is day 2 of Flourishes May Release.  Today we are giving you a little sneak peek at the soon to be released Father's Day set. You are going to fall in love with this beautifully created stamp set.

I have lots of Flourishes goodies on this card.  I stamped out my image onto Flourishes Classic White Cardstock.  I then sponged a little bit of Stormy Sky Distress ink.  I added some Venise Black Lace with some yellow and black gingham ribbon.  The buttons are from the Basic Grey Jovial buttons collection.  The designer paper I used is the The Country Collection

We also have a new 123 Create Kit this month .

I created a simple card with another image for the Father's Day set using the paper and embellishments from this kit. Stay tuned tomorrow because I have another sample for you.

Now be sure to check out all the Design Team's blogs and leave a comment.  There is a Mystery Blogger among us.

  27. Hi Dawn,

You all made me cry with this cards today! Having lost my Father more than 20 years ago, your cards made me remember all the wonderful and tender moments that my children and I had with him. His memory as well as his teachings will always live with me, but as time goes on they become blurry or suppressed because they are too painful, you all taught me today that the best tribute that I can give him is to keep him alive through my memories of him. This comments are not intended to make you guys feel bad, on the contrary, you taught me today a wonderful and valuable lesson! Thanks for the memories of a man that was so big in spirit and such an awesome Father!
