Saying Goodbye To Mo's Digital Pencil DT

What's Cookin2

It is with a very sad and heavy heart that I write up this blog post.  After 2.5 years stamping over at Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge blog I have decided to step down.  This is my last challenge but it most definitely will not be my last Mo card.   What a pleasure it has been to be on Mo's team and I could not ask for a better design team.

The challenge this week is to create a card using your favorite color challenge.  Turquoise and red are two of my favorite colors. You can check out the rest of the design teams creations over at Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge Blog.  I chose What's Cookin from Mo's Digital Pencil store.  I wanted to use her today because I also created a recipe card for my daughters.

What's Cookin Recipe2

This recipe is from when I was a little girl.  We had a garden and my mom would pick rhubarb from it. I don't really like the tartness of rhubarb but love this cobbler.  It is more like a cake than what I call a traditional cobbler.  So good.  Here is the original copy I found in my box..

Cobbler

Judging by my handwriting I would say I was probably in 5th grade or so.. I sure do miss those days in my mom's big kitchen baking and canning.

Thanks to Mo Manning for giving me this opportunity and having faith in my stamping.  I will miss all of it.

  12. Such a shame that you are standing down from Mo's as your cards are so inspirational, but I'm sure we'll still see lots of Mo's images on your future cards. Love what you are doing with your recipe cards. I have actually still got a cook book that I had at school. My writing was awful then, definitely not as nice as yours. Love rhubarb mmm. My rhubarb plant is thriving.
