Pink and Girlie

PINK2.

This week's challenge over at Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge Blog is PINK and Girlie..
This sweet image is Mo's Flower Girl.  I love how soft and flowing her dress looks in this image.  Great for a wedding, dance recital, or party.

PINK flower girl.

I colored my image with Copics in the R80 series.  I stitched around the edges and added a border.  The embellishment was made from the flower die by Tim Holtz.  I sponged on some pink ink.  Then added a leaf and stick pins with some tulle to finish it off.

Now check out what the rest of the team created and get out your pinks..

Carnival Blog Hop

Clowns, cotton candy, sticky fingers, squeals of delight and of course complaints of sore feet near the end of the day... Where are we?

THE CARNIVAL!!

Hopefully you have just hopped on over from Pat's Blog. If you just popped on by to say g’day and want to join us on the super carnival hop then you’ll want to ‘START HERE’ at Jak's Blog.

Kat and Carnival
Zoe from Make it Crafty and Mo from Mo’s Digital Pencil, came together to share the delight and fun of The Carnival. To celebrate - the two fabulously talented teams have come together for a massive blog hop to offer you plenty of inspiration when playing with these images.

I merged the two together in Photoshop Elements.  Then I colored the entire image with Copics.

Along the way you will find balloons with a letter in them. Write down the letters as you go because at the very end we want you to guess what the saying is!

There will be THREE grand prizes randomly drawn from the correct answers PLUS there will be hidden prizes along the way so make sure you leave some love as you hop along!

Now we know this is a super big hop, but we wanted to make sure you would get LOTS of inspiration! The hop will be open until the 28thApril so you will have plenty of time to come back each day with a cuppa to soak it all up! (Just don’t lose the letters you have been collecting!)

We would like to thank our fabulous sponsors, Mo’s Digital Pencil, Make it Crafty, Stamping Bella and Quixotic Paperie for providing the fabulous prizes for this grand carnival hop!

My letter for the hop is E.

Make sure you leave a comment for a ‘possible’ chance at winning some hidden treasure
and then your next stop on the hop is Elaine.

Lastly,  Mo has created this adorable image.. It is available during the hop for $1..ALL PROCEEDS GO TO THE CHILDREN'S MAKE A WISH FOUNDATION.  This is an organization that is near and dear to my heart.  So hurry over and get your image.

This month Anna Wight has released the sweetest new stamps over at Whipper Snapper Designs.  It has been a pleasure and a huge honor to have been a guest designer.. Here are a few of the cards that I designed for March and April.  I love WSD and of course Anna Wight..Thanks so much for choosing me as a guest designer
Flowers1.

This card is from the newly released Garden of Friendship.  I just love the sweet little gardener with her pots of flowers and all the extras that come with this set.

Strawberries.

This next set is right up my alley. This set is called Garden Fresh. I love to can in the summer time.  Last summer my daughter and I made strawberry jam.  We had little jars like these.. I used the strawberry stamp in this set to create a background for my card.  I stamped on Kraft paper and colored with Prisma Pencils and Goo Gone.  I did some stitching and distressing for a country look.

Recipe Card Dog Last but certainly not least is a set called Recipe Card Companion. It coordinates with the Recipe Card Stamp. SO MANY possibilities here.  I chose to create a card with my recipe attached.  The paper is digi paper that is free from Squigglefly.  I printed it out on Kraft paper.  I found this doggy treat recipe.  Thanks so much to Anna and Whipper Snapper Designs.  Now head over there and get your sets today.  Here is the rest of the samples for you to check out:

    Mother's Love1.
