Farm Fresh

 

It is time for another Flourishes Release challenge. Not long from now, juicy and fresh produce will start to sprout and find its way to farmer's markets in every corner of America. Let's capture some farm freshness on our cards or creations. Use fruit or veggies as a focus! FLLCJULY11. Deadline is July 15th at 5 PM Eastern. I created two cards this week for our challenge.  
Strawberries 
The first card I made while we had a lightening storm and our power was out for hours. I hand stitched around the edges of the Strawberry set.  I colored it twice and popped up the strawberries.
 
I stamped on Flourishes Classic White cardstock and colored with Flourishes' Copics Collection Fuschia.  This beautiful ribbon is also from Flourishes.  Kind of a clean and simple card but I love the way it came out.
 
Garden Fresh MMTPT.

The second card is from the newly released Garden Fresh stamp set.  The ribbon is from Flourishes' ribbon collection.  I also used the Basic Grey Jovial buttons.

    Ooh, I love both of these, Dawn. I love the reds and greens together, and the use of the doily on the Garden Fresh card really makes it pop. Gorgeous!

    Love them both! The hand stitching on the first card is just perfect with the strawberries! I love the colors on your peas card. The buttons on the the ribbon are really pretty! Your coloring is gorgeous on both cards too!

    You have such a way with color girl... I love how bold and "sunny" both are -- they are just happy cards! And, hand stitching during a storm? It created charming results! :-)

    The stitching and popped up strawberries are so great on the berry card Dawn! And I love the pop of red on the peas, and the separated sentiment too. Really cute!

    Big SIGH!!!!! If you ever decide that you're fed up with all your scrummy fruit n' veg stamps...I am willing to give them a good home (another big SIGH!!!) These are both so origianl...I love them...(massive BIG SIGH!!!!) xx

    Good to have two cards made while the lightning streaked and the thunder rolled. They're both gorgeous, Dawn. Nice stitches on the strawberries and they look super popped up...yummy!
