As we get ready to honor the Independence
of the good ole U.S.A, let's see your patroitism shine! Use red, white
and blue if you hail from the United States. If you live in other parts
of the world, turn to your nation's flag for inspiration! For me it is good old Red, White and Blue.
I wanted to use some older sets that have not seen love in awhile. I have seen Betty Wright create so many beautiful backgrounds with stamps. She was my inspiration. These sets are Flourishes Berry Sweet and Strawberries. I stamped the berries out randomly onto Flourishes Classic White Cardstock and then colored with Flourishes Copics Collections:
Fuchsia, Green Grass, and Blue Jeans. Flourishes has done a great job matching up color combos for these Copic Collections.

I created a little pocket for a recipe I found at Kraft Foods.com. I think this will be delicious for a 4th of July party I am having. They are festive and fun.. They taste great too.
Now come on out and join the party. You have until next Friday June 10th to create a card using RWB or your countries flag colors. Then link it on the Flourishes blog and you could win the entire new release.
If you upload to Splitcoaststampers be sure to use the keyword FLLCJUNE11. Deadline is June 10th at 5 PM Eastern.

I love this card, Dawn. What a great idea for red, white and blue. You're going to bankrupt me because I now need these two sets, plus I tried to order Blueberry Girl from Mo but couldn't find it on their site. Ended up buying three others though. Your zinnias are gorgeous, too. "You're killin' me, Smalls,". (A little test of your movie trivia.) Thanks for sharing such inspiring cards.
