Thank You

HelloHycInsert.

It's time for another Friday Focus over at Flourishes.  This week I chose to 
use the newly released set Hello Hyacinth.. Don't forget that this is the last day to get your New Release Bundle Package at 10% off. I watercolored this image with some Tim Holtz reinkers.  I wanted to try the TLC over on Splitcoaststampers.  The challenge was to try this cute little folded card.

It took me several tries to get this right. I love it though.  You definitely have to use a thin sheet of paper and make sure the folds are really straight..

Then once you untie the ribbon you see your little card inside.

      Hi Dawn. Love that folded card. What great coloring. I have not tried to color with TH reinkers. Hmmmm.... You make such neat projects with the color purple. Love the colors for this Chritmas challenge. Such a cute card you made using them. Hi. Hope all is well on your end gf.

      Your folded card is just so pretty. Of course, the hyacinth is a beauty and I LOVE that beautiful lavendar ribbon you used to tie your card together.
      Gorgeous Christmas card with the pretty cardinal and the checked ribbons. Of course, I am known for loving the birds.

      What a darling creation on both counts! It's been a while since I've done that card in a box but.. those are fun, aren't they? I did a card once and when you opened it up -- there was a packet of seeds for the recipient -- kind of addictive to make. Anyway... long story short -- fabulous job my friend!

      What a clever fold on your hyacinth card! Is there no end to what people will dream up? Gorgeous watercoloring. Such a rich and pretty purple. I just LOVE your cardinal card, too! I so admire your cute idea for tying the ribbons on each end of the oval. The pink and red are very pretty on a Christmas card!

      Your hyacinth card is GORGEOUS! I can't imagine that anyone could make a card prettier than that! Untie the pretty ribbon and it's even more lovely inside. The red cardinal against the snowy white background is sweet too:) Beautiful images of spring and winter. Kathy

      Your first card is totally fun and something I've never seen before. And I love the cardinal Xmas card. The red and white remind me so much of how beautiful it is when you see a cardinal outside in the snow in winter.

      Wow Dawn! These are beautiful!!! I love that hyacinth image and your distress ink coloring is great!!! I have not tried it yet... need to though! I do love that image!       That cardinal is great also. I was just trying to photograph one that looked just like him on our bird feeder yesterday. I like the way that you offset your bows too. Lovely.
