Love and Lace

LOVEt

This week over on Mo's Digital Challenge blog the challenge is to create a card featuring LOVE with buttons, bows and lace.  I chose this sweet puppy love image called  Girl and Dog.

I colored with copics and primsa pencils.  Then added my ribbon, bow, and the button.  My lace is my heart doily. I figured it is lacy.  This adorable crocheted heart is from my sweet friend Holly Young.  She sent me a whole bunch of these and I have used half of them already.  I LOVE them bet you can't tell..:)

    I just don't know what to say anymore. Each and every one of your cards is a masterpiece. I love the way you colored and shaded her and her dog. The white hearts are great.

    Hi Dawn...how adorable!! I love your card! Great colors...and your coloring is just stunning. I love the look of deeper and richer shades...I will have to practice that!! Your design, DPs, and embellies are just perfect to showcase this darling Mo Manning image!! Love the lace doilies...I need to pull our my lace doilies...haven't used thm in a while.     You're awesome, Dawn. Can I come to your house and you can teach me how to color like that. . .seriously?! What a nice friend to send you so many wonderful crocheted hearts like that. It takes me so long to make them, that someone would be waiting a loooong time to get goodies like that, lol.

    That image made me giggle as I thought about all the pets that kindly (or otherwise) endure kids tryign to pick them up :) Lovely touch with the crocheted heart.
