Happy Birthday Jan Marie



Let’s light the candles and strike up the music, the owner of Flourishes – Jan Marie Caruso – is celebrating a birthday and we’re helping her by getting the party started!  I used the set called Let Them Eat Cake.. This was my first official set as a Design Team member.  I used this set one year ago today for my very first post. I feel so blessed to be among the talent on this team but most of all I appreciate the friendships here. Happy birthday Jan Marie.. I hope your day is filled with many blessings. I  chose Flourishes
"signature" colors for my card..

 
Happy Birthday Jan.

I stamped my image on Flourishes Watercolor Paper with ink and embossed so I could watercolor the frosting.  I used the Black Mosaics for embellishments on top of my ribbon. I added a little rolled flower to the top.

    What a gorgeous cake...and with a cherry..well, rose on top. LOL I had the pleasure of meeting Jan Marie last summer when she let me come by to purchase stamps. Now, that was fun. Your card in her honor is beautiful!
    BTW, I love that header with tulips-my favorite flower.
