Knit One, Pearl One

Retro1

It's time for another Mo's challenge.  I have not stamped in 6 weeks and I can sure tell. It takes awhile to get your groove back.  This week over at Mo's Elaine is hosting the challenges.  This week she chose retro 30s, 40s, or 50s as our theme.  I chose
Mummu and Virginia. She is available over at Mo's Digital Pencil. When I was a little girl the lady that watched my sisters and I taught me to knit. I have recently started knitting again thanks to my friend Peggy.

Retro2
I colored them with copics and added just a little bit of prisma pencil to add dimension.

So get out those creative juices and join us..  We also have a new team member so please give a warm welcome to....Pat Frank

Here is last week's challenge card.. I was gone and not able to post it.

This image is Bella and Bronte Makin Cards.. It was our first challenge image that Mo created.. It is available at Mo's Digital Pencil  HERE.

  8. Hi Dawn, I had to come and peek at your new creations. (I remember something about stopping by here yesterday...lol) Anywho! I love your awesome scene. I love knitting too. My mom thought me how to, but she was the ultimate knitter, she went from cable stitch, to rib stich to the simple knitting for slippers.

Thank you Dawn, your cards seem to make me reminisce and Mo's images are so perfect for that.

Hugs, keep up the fabulous cardmaking craft though...peggyxo

  10. Hi Dawn...I love this card!! It so reminds me of my Gramma...she tried so hard to teach me to crochet...but my hands and brain just didn't want to cooperate!! I know what you mean about "getting out of practice"...happens to me when I take just a couple of days off...but, believe me, you have NOT lost your touch or your mojo, sweetie!! Your layout, DPs, & yarn ribbon are perrrrfect for Elaine's "Retro" theme...and your coloring is GORGEOUS!! And thanks soooooo much, Dawn, for the warm welcome. I'm crazy thrilled to be joining you and the other uber talented and creative ladies on the team!!
    Hugs...Pat Frank

  12. Well, your colouring is as fabulous as ever and I love both cards. Darling image on the first one. It's been nice to see knitting coming back a bit again. Love the girl and the dog - so like animals to be right in the middle of what you are doing. No lack of mojo seen from this end, though I totally empathize with your comment after time away from stamping LOL!
