This week over at Mo's Challenge blog the challenge is to create a card or project with a pocket.
I thought I would create another pumpkin card with my Spellbinder's dies. I showed how to do this in this POST. I wanted to make a card to go with my pumpkins I have been sewing. I chose Patrick In The Pumpkins.
I colored with copics and highlighted with prisma pencils. I used felt for the stem and stitched around the edges and filled with some filling. Then added some fiber that was wrapped around a pencil and sprayed with starch to help it keep the shape.
Here is the card outside the front pocket.
I sent out the rest of my pumpkins today.. I love the way these all turned out.
woww dawn your card and all the pumpkins are adorable

ReplyDeleteDawn, I was almost afraid to take a peek after having the willies with the black spiders last time...did I tell you our daughter was bitten by a brown recluse (deadly) and had the worst wound I have ever seen and had to go to the hospital to have it checked out? Then I thought I saw one in our kitchen and couldn't get to it fast enough for it's demise...so I've been having dreams of flying spiders...so your black ones did a number on me.
ReplyDeleteBut back to the pumpkins, they are innocent enough and the card is so sweet that little cherub peeking out, as long as he's not holding a spider, I'm good! ;)
Truly your pumpkins are all amazing, I wish I could be closer to see and feel them, they look so fun and bright and dimensional!! I'm going to send you a pm on SCS now.
