Hope You Can Cling To

HOPE YOU CAN CLING TO
More than a quarter of a million of the most talented paper artists in the world call Splitcoaststampers home,
and we are ready to help use those talents for a great cause.  Today it is my turn to host the Hope You Can Cling To challenge.  I created this sketch to spark your creativity:

Most of us have been touched, directly or
indirectly, by breast cancer, and all of us know the power of stamps, ink and paper when used to encourage.
Let’s make October a month to remember and give patients at the MD Anderson Cancer Center some hopethey can cling to! Check out all the requirements HERE on Splitcoaststampers.

A HUGE thank you goes out to Christy Croll.  I contacted her in September asking if she would help me out and create an image and she came back with so much more.. The image and paper I used today came from herstore Tiddly Inks. You can see this image and paper here:  DARE TO BE AWARE.  Not only does she have amazing talent she has a huge heart too.. Thanks Christy.  This meant so much to me.
The ribbon I used is from my sweet friend Nikki..
The button is from the etsy store Tessa Ann.

My mom started the very first hospice over 20 years ago in our county.  She cared for so many that really needed not only the medical support but the emotional support too.  Through her, I learned the effect cancer has on so many families.. Wish she could see this card today.. How happy she would be.

I am so proud to be a part of this huge card drive.  Won't you come join in and make a difference.

  2. Wonderful card for a wonderful cause! Sweet image by Christy and beautifully colored, too.

My mom worked with Hospice and my FIL spent his final days in the care of one -- it's an amazing group that you really don't realize how essential and meaningful it is until you need them. Then they are priceless!

  18. As always, your coloring blows me away. This is sweet and beautiful, Dawn! It's easy to see that you must've inherited your giving heart from your mom (I'm sorry you lost her at such a young age). I must've been living under a rock in October because I totally missed these challenges.
