Just got back from CHA in Chicago.. Met so many wonderful people there. It felt great to be back in my home state even if it was just for a few days. Some of
the Flourishes gals were there and you will be so excited
to see all the things we have planned.. STAY TUNED..
Don't forget that you still have time to enter the monthly Christmas
challenge for Flourishes. Lots of fun stuff coming up....
It's time for a Friday Focus over at Flourishes. This week Christine is
hosting and the challenge is More Is More.. Check out the
details over at the Flourishes Blog. The above card is my More Is
More card..
This card is my Less Is Less card.. I love the way you can take a Flourishes
set like Humming Along and use it to create a clean and simple card. For both
cards I used Flourishes Classic Ivory and White Cardstock..I love this paper for
copic coloring. I used the Gerber Daisy and Holly Copics Collections to
color my images.

- Jami Sibley (guest designing this week)
This was my inspiration.. I picked these while I was out on my morning run.
I love the little tiny center.. They look like butterflies inside the actual
flower.. The trumpet vine grows wild here along the road..
Love both versions. Miss our hummers who have departed until next spring. Glad you had a great time at CHA :D

ReplyDeleteHi Dawn~
ReplyDeleteI also just returned home this week. Dave and I went on a 17 day car ride up and down the east coast visiting family. It's the perfect time! Dave is out of work and looking for a job in a non-profit do-good organization! He could do everything from his phone! Off we went!
So glad you enjoyed CHA! Your cards are so beautiful! I really like both of them, but for summer and this terrible heat the look of mostly white wins my heart.
I still pray for you daily. I pray that the Lord will bless you more than you will ever be able to imagine!
Remember~
