Aloha

Kalei Palm Trees
This week at Mo's Digital Pencil Blog Challenge Sheila is the hostess.

She challenged us to merge two images together.. I chose
Kalei and the palm trees from Mo's Pirate Stuff.

I created my hiabiscus flower by taking two large flowers and adding
a cotton swab in the middle that had been colored with ink..

I colored  with copics and highlighted with prisma pencils.

My friend Holly has a terrific merging video tutorial HERE.

  6. Dawn, This is wonderful! I've been resisting Mo's hula girl for some time now. I have so many versions already, because my husband was born there and still has family on Oahu. She's so cute with the palm tree that I may have to get her anyway!

  18. Totally adorable, Dawn!! Just love the clouds in the BG and your colouring is amazing!! Oh to be able to do the hula properly LOL! Was fun learning you ran a daycare for a while. It was not something I had planned on getting into at all but a mom who's daughter was in my daughter's class approached me to see if I could watch her two girls after Kindergarten three days a week and the rest is history. Let's me stay home with the kids and become a mom to even more kids LOL! Have a great day :D
