This is not my norm. I struggle with scenery. I embossed with craft ink and clear ep. This was made for a challenge amongst a group of SCS friends. We were to make a get well card with a humor twist. Found this sentiment on the net. Watercolored with reinkers. Made the background using the Faux Wood technique.

Dawn, you said this was not your norm, but maybe it should be one of them! This card is awesome! I love the coloring, the layout, the sentiment! Made me really chuckle! It reminds me of my hubby's "swamp". We have an area in th back pasture that is always wet and soggy. There's cattails and pussy willows growing back there. He's put in a crane and a toad and some lights. He teases me that he's going to put an outhouse back there! LOL NOT!!!

ReplyDeleteLove the faux wood detail. I love scenes...and would looove more stampscapes stuff! Wander over to their website for some tips with scenes...and michelle zindorf has that great tech for the backgrounds with scenes...also a must see.
