Flourishes Tin Focus

SewingKit

Today for our Friday Focus over at Flourishes we are all decorating these little tins.  I just could not wait to get this project started.  I wanted to create a little sewing kit with mine.  I chose the Flourishes Feminine Charm dress form for my kit cover.  I used the My Mind's Eye Blush Designer paper and Buttons.

Sewing Kitopen

I found a little sewing kit at my local fabric store and added it to my tin.  I think I will keep this in my desk for those just in case moments when you need a little needle and thread.

    Santa Stopped Here Blog Candy

    027

Merry Christmas to all my wonderful stamping friends.  By the time you are reading this I am walking into my Dad's home surprising him on Christmas day.  I haven't been to his house in 3 years for the holidays.  It will be a joyous day.  My entire family will be there.  I am so excited.

    Teddy

This adorable image is from Teddy Bo.  I fell in love with the sweet Teddy Bears she has in the store. I saw several more and will save them for Valentines.  I am hoping that you are enjoying your time with family and friends this holiday season.

I am offering some Christmas Blog Candy:  A  $25.00 gift certificate to any online stamping or crafting store. All you have to do is leave a comment below and I will pick a winner on January 1st.  That gives you plenty of time to visit.  I know these are busy weeks.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.  See you in 2012 and thank you so much for visiting my blog this past year.

It is Free For All Friday over at Flourishes.  I cannot believe it is 2 days before Christmas.  I know you are all busy getting ready for that special day.  I created this card as a New Years card for a special friend.  I hope that she can believe in the future, I wish her the best and may every dream come true in 2012.

I used Flourishes newly released Pear set.  Hurry over to Flourishes and order the New Release Bundle for 10 percent off.  Today is the last day.  I colored with Flourishes Copics Collections:

    Merry Christmas

    LhasaapsoCPearl

As we wind down the last few days before Christmas I thought this image would be appropriate for my final holiday card for 2011.  This image looks exactly like my sweet 12 year old dog.  She has been with me through thick and thin.  This image is from Mo's Digital Pencil and it is called Lahasa Apso and is available over at Mo's Store.  The challenge for this week at Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge blog is to create with punches or dies.  I used my long forgotten snowflake punch.  Come join the fun and create a card with punches or dies.

    Sweet Puppy Christmas

It is time for another Mo's Digital Pencil challenge.  This week the challenge is "Fabric of Our Lives".
When I think of all the 'fabric' in my life I think of my family.  Not just my human family but man's best friend kind of family too.  This card was made for my daughter.  She has an Australian Shepherd.  She is the sweetest puppy.  I tried to photograph her with her Santa hat on but she was having none of that.

So I used her as my inspiration.  I chose Mo's Digital Pencil Christmas Sheep Dog With Hat.
I added a fabric heart and stamped my sentiment on the fabric.  Come over and join in the fun at

    Flourishes Release Week

Today the design team is focusing on the 123 Create Kits.  Check out all the kits HERE.  These kits are my favorite way to create a card.  All the matching is done for me.  For this card I used the newly released Snow Wonder along with the Sunshine 123 Create Kit.  This set coordinates with the Tailor- Made Classic Keyhole Die made exclusively for the Snow Wonderful set and the Petals and Peace from the November Release.

    Flourishes Day 2 December Release

One of my favorite fruits to eat are pears so it goes without saying how much I love this set.  This stamp is Marcella's signature style making it easy to color.  I chose the green/red pear colors to coordinate with my paper and ribbon.

    Flourishes Release Week Day 1

It is time for Flourishes final release for 2011.  We are going out with a bang this year. I am loving the sets we have for you this month.  This set is called Snow Wonderful.
I love this wintery scene.  It reminds me of my dad's cabin in the woods of Central WI.  I used the Classic Keynote die and my Grand Calibur to cut out my main image.  Then I colored with Flourishes Copics Collections: Flesh Tones, Evergreens, and Water.  The paper is from the .. collection.

Want to win this set..there is a Mystery Blogger along the way so be sure to leave a comment on each designers blog

    Flourishes Release Challenge

It is time for Flourishes Release Week Challenge.  Lace, pearls and flouncy ribbons - these are the things that make up a creation with a truly feminine flair. That's what is at the heart of this month's challenge. To enter, let's see how you add a dose of femininity to your cards or creations! Link your project up here and if you upload to SCS, please use the key word FLLCDEC11. Use Flourishes stamps if you have them, but if you don't please play anyway! The winner will recieve our entire December release. You have until December 16 at 5 PM Easterm time to submit.

    Lace.
For my card today I used the Flourishes Lace and Trim set.  I wanted to stamp in white but my white ink pad was dry so I had to switch gears.  This stamp set is on sale right now for just $10.. Check it out HERE.
Do you love the look of fancy lace and  delicate trims?  This stamp set is for you!  Great to use as borders, in place of ribbon, or even as a background. I also used the pretty Cotton Ecru Trim from Flourishes.

I have also been working on some Christmas gifts.  I created some tags for my gifts.  This one was created using the Petals and Peace set stamped on kraft with the flower bleached out and then once dry I colored it with Copics.  I used the Tailor Made Classic Keynote Die and my Grand Calibur to cut out my tag.

    Snowman Tag

The weeks in December just seem to fly by.  It is time for another Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge. This week the theme is to add a tag or banner.  I really struggled to figure this card out.  I tore it apart several times.  May need some extra glue before I send it out.  I chose Mo's Snowman image for my tag card.  Computer generated sentiment cut into a tag completes the challenge.
Head on over to Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge blog and check out what the rest of the team created.

    Joy In The AirNWM

It is hard to believe that it is time for 2012.  This year has gone so quickly.  Flourishes has a new calendar for the new year.  Check it out over  at the Flourishes store.   There will be complete instruction on how to add it to your cart and download.  I chose the newly released Joy Is In The Air for my first calendar page of the year. I added some Sea Breeze Sparklets for just a little bit of bling.

    I Love Roses_edited-1.

For my second project I made a card to show you that you don't just have to use these downloads for a calender.  I created a Valentines card with the I Love Roses set from Flourishes.  I used the following
    Flourishes Copics Collections:

I stamped my flowers on Flourishes Classic White Cardstock. I downloaded my calendar and cut it out to fit on my card front.  Then I stamped the roses all over for the background and colored them in.

    Snow Time

We just missed the first snow here in North Carolina.  Oh how my son would love to be doing this right now instead of being in school.  This week at Mo's Digital Pencil the theme is "The Great Outdoors".  I chose Toboggan as my image.  Colored with copics and added some fake snow and glitzy gems for snowflakes.

Head on over to Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge blog and check out the rest of the design team's creations.  Have a great day..
