House Mouse Hope

I created this card for the House Mouse and Friends blog challenge. Make a get well soon card. I didn't have any stamps that fit that category so I had to think outside the supplies...hehe.. I thought this would work. Sending this to my cousin who is fighting this ugly disease. Check out the challenge HERE...

Friends For Heifer

My Wishful Body

I made this for Mothermark's Teapot Tuesday Challenge. Each week she gives us a teapot to be inspired by. These are so easy. I learned how to do it at a stamp camp. It is all Stampin Up.

Happy Birthday Dad

I went to IL for springbreak. My son and I had so much fun on my dad's farm. I took lots of pictures.. Anyway....his birthday is coming up and I took a picture and created a coffee mug with his farm's name on it and a momma cow and her calf.


When I saw the CDS guest design team challenge I thought I would give it a try. I love this set. I have used it so many times. It was a gift from my friend Gloria.. It is called Farm Critters.

We were to "dangle" or hang something. I added the beads as a dangler. I then also added a suspended cow. There is a tutorial on SCS for a suspension card. (Thanks LISA). I needed a gift bag. I created a Genie bag from SCS also and added a suspended cow on my tag. I created my own cow print and added some hearts. The sentiment is so my dad. He has a great sense of humor. Mononucleosis

My college daughter has MONO. Poor thing is so sick. Makes a mom's heart hurt. Especially when we are far apart in miles. Made this card for her and for the limited supply challenge today. We were to use colors in a room of our house. I just redid the girls room in a Robin Hood Red and green. Hope she is on the mend soon. Finals are 2 weeks away...

Apple Pie Me Oh My

Created this card for a card kit swap that I joined. It is my first time using copics. They are not as easy as they look. Let's just say Tilda got dressed three times today. LOL. I love this apple paper. It is by Creative Imaginations. I also used my Great Impressions dessert stamp. What do you think? Is it swap worthy..

Happy Mom's Day

Today's color challenge on SCS is Rose Red, PINK, and Gray. I had seen a card that another SCSer had done with this set. She added the pots in the wheelbarrow. How clever is that. I just had to case it. I watercolored with reinkers. Did some paper piecing and lots of masking. This is going to my Step Mom for Mother's Day. That is a difficult day for me. I miss me mom.. Will be hard this year being away from my girls too. Will have to think of something fun to do..

Rain Or Shine

I created this card for Featured Stamper 115 on SCS. Jamie has an amazing gallery. She also makes alot of her own envelopes so I also made one for my card. I love this set. I won it awhile back and have not used it until today. The dog in his little sweater just cracks me up. It is good to be back to stamping. I am feeling a little under the weather so my Mo and Jo are not working today. Rainy days on Sundays are a great time to stamp...

Thank You Sandy

Quite A Pear

This card is so different from my usual style. I wanted to case a card for my friend Julie's Featured Stamper day on SCS. She is so sweet and so talented. This set was one I got from Firecracker Designs when I was a guest designer in February. I love it. It has all different kinds of fruit.

Jelly Beans

I created this card for my IRL stamping friend. It doesn't look all that cute here but it was hard to photograph. I also used the HM and friends challenge for this week. To make a SWEET card. I love jelly beans. I added the Jelly Bean poem on the inside.

Today's Twisted Sister Challenge was to create a card that brought back a memory.

I grew up on a family farm. My dad has been a farmer for 54 years. When I was about 7 my dad took me to the local sale barn to buy me a spring calf. He took me out to the back of the barn and showed me all of the calves and said pick any one you want. I saw a little black calf with a white face. He was adorable. My dad said now you get to get a number and bid on him. So off we went. Now mind you there were hundreds of calves in this lot. So we sit down and I have my number. I am all proud. Calves were sold for around $25. The bidding starts and calf after calf sells for around that price. It comes time for me to bid. I bid $20..$25..$30..$50..$100... Someone else wanted this calf too. My dad saw how much I wanted that baby calf. He bought that calf for $125. 5 times the amount the other calves all went for. I am still to this day amazed that my dad let me do this. He could have so easily made me quit bidding and bought another calf for less...

I named that calf Lucky. I think I was the lucky one.....

This is one of my favorite memories of my dad and I...


I changed my Riley to a Riletta.. LOL. I needed a girl hugging that calf.

Foiled Birthday Girl

I love the SCS challenges. They get me to do things I would not normally think of. Today's challenge was to use foil. I just glued a piece of foil to a piece of cardstock. Ran it through my birthday cb folder and added this image. Hard to photograph but fun look. Hope your day has some sun.. Raining here like crazy..

I created this for the Sketch Challenge on SCS. Roxie always has the best sketches. I love this Whipper Snapper Image. Isn't she cute. I used my cb border folder with love... I have had it for awhile and wanted to use it with this sketch.
