Edwin Fishes

I have a little group of friends that I do a challenge with on Fridays.. Each week is a new theme.. This week it was to create a scene with lots of sponging and a popped up image.. I got this amazing Edwin Fishing from a dear friend in the UK.. I love it.. This was a tough challenge for me.. Landscape is hard to create.. I used the Magnolia tree image also.. I used for the first time my Kittie Kits Cause A Scene.. Boy did that help.. Found the fish image from the internet and colored it.. Added CE for the water.. Sorry the photo is dark.. I need a better lighting system..

Have a great day,

Thank Ewe

This image just makes me happy.. My friend Pegg sent it to me... I saw a card on SCS that she had done with a lamb... I told her it brought back great childhood memories.. When I was little the neighbors raised sheep.. I would open my window on a cool spring night and just listen to the lambs calling their moms.. Great memories.. She sent me some images and this was one of them... I stickled it everywhere.. Colored with SU reinkers and water...
Have a great day...

House Mouse Challenge #22

This is for the next HM blog challenge. http://housemouse-challenge.blogspot.com/

I did so much to this card. I paper pieced the quilt squares after cutting them all out. Then I stitched with my sewing machine around the edges. The first row was uneven so I stitched another row and went with it... Paper pierced the heart becaus that was the challenge for today. Then colored my mouse with GooGone and Prismacolor pencils. I am sending this to my sister because she loves MICE. LOL. Plus she is a faithful blog reader. I think my ONLY blog reader. Also added a pleated half flower. That is for the SCS challenge for pleats....Have a great day.

Pink Flamingos

This is for the Limited Supply Challenge. We had to dress up our dp. I used fun flock. Not sure why they named it that because it is not all that fun. What a mess. I colored these adorable flamingos with a marker. I made the ribbon thingy at the top. It was a challenge in itself. Have a great Friday everyone...

Cowboy Love

A group of friends on SCS decided to do a weekly challenge. This weeks challenge was to create a child's birthday card. I got this template from the house of stirfry. I had to fiddle with it forever to get it to work. Love the image. I kept thinking of the song "Cowgirls Don't Cry" I love that song. Have a great day..

Bubble Bath

I love this image. My favorite thing to do on a cold winter night is to take a hot bubble bath. It just calms me and warms me up. This is for the FS on Splitcoast. Lori Crag is a great stamper. I love her style. Stay warm....

Strawberry Love

I hope that everyone is staying warm today. We are so lucky here in North Carolina. It is in the 40s. I just got done running outside. I love that I am sticking to my NY's resolution. It feels good to have a goal in mind.

I stamped this cute little strawberry mouse from Whipper Snapper Designs. He is so cute. I add stickles to the strawberry and clear glaze to his nose. Hope you can stay warm today...

Got Snow

Another really fun company is High Hopes. They have some fantastic whimsical images. This one is Moriah... I did this for the most recent High Hopes Challenge. It was to use torn paper on your card. Colored with pencils and GooGone.

Tilda's Quilt

I love these Tilda images. They are so fun to color and so cute. It reminds me of when my girls were little and they had little lives. Now they are big with bigger lives.

Candy Cane Paint

I thought I would just share with you some of my favorites from 2008. This one is a House Mouse Image. I loved coloring it with pencils and GooGone. (thanks Michelle for that hint)

Snowman Sweater

I have a huge love for any kind of snowmen. We recently moved from Illinois to North Carolina. What a change. I just love it here. It is warm and sunny. However, no snow....So I guess I will just have to create them to send to all my family back where it is snowy and cold. This image is from Whipper Snapper Designs. LOVE this image. I watercolored it with SU markers. This color combo is my favorite too. Hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by...

The New ME

Here is my second New Years Resolution. To look like this. LOL. If it were only so easy to sculpt your body with just a few punches. I did this for a challenge on SCS with a bunch of really fun ladies. We were to make a card with metal and some type of animal print. I guess this fits the challenge. Just to clarify. No metal in this belly button.
Have a great day.
